Lovehandles STAILAA

Mahtavaa tässä yrittäjyydessä on se, että bisnestä voi viedä sinne suuntaan mihin sydän halajaa.
Liikeidea saattaa muuttua ja muovautua matkan varrella moneenkin otteeseen. Joskus mopedi karkaa kertakaikkiaan käsistä, mutta onneksi ympärillä on ihmisiä jotka voi tarvittaessa viitoittaa takaisin asian ytimeen. Vaikkakin kreiseistä ideoista voikin syntyä koko homman HELMI.

Vielä muutama kuukausi ja sitten saamme markkinoille ensimmäisen Lovehandles -malliston.
Sitä odotellessa jotain muuta, uutta...

Olen jo pitkään haaveillut aloittavani stailauspalvelun pluskoon kohderyhmän naisille - muutkin toki tervetulleita!

Whats EVERYONE talking about now? Yes, ADELE.

That amazing woman with the sound to die for. That magnificent charisma she shines around her in every performance, you can even feel it true the telly. 

That woman who writes songs about heart breaking experiences from her own life. That talented, beautiful woman who really seems to be what she is. That woman who gives "hope" to plus size women to be who they are no matter of their size.

Personally I salute the fashion industry (especially Vogue) of taking Adele to the cover of their magazines. It's about time we give some room to full figured women in these commercial highly respected communities. What I don't understand is why they try to make Adele look the same as "size something" much smaller than she really is?
Below some photos of the US Vogue march 2012 issue with Adele. Beautiful pics but why are they so heavily airbrushed? Isn't the fashion industry ready for real beauty with some fat?

Finnish Fashion

Twice a year Finnish Catwalk gathers together Finnish designers and fashion lovers in a runway show at the heart of Helsinki.

The event is free of charge, which is good for everyone to be able to partake. But in the other hand I think with a phew € entry fee we could support our designers and the organization behind this event. Also to keep the event among people who is there for the right reason - FASHION!

Happened in India

December 2011 in New Delhi took me as a surprise, it was cold!?! Day time it was ok, temperature around +20'C, but in the evening it went down to few plus degrees -brrr. Suitcase full of summer clothes did not help much. I was missing my wooly socks back home, never could imagine to take them to INDIA with me. Could you? 

Well, the flue got me! Eventually it turned in to a hilarious act as I totally lost my voice in this tropical country. Also being a native Finn used to radical climate change Indians weather caught me. With some heavy overdose of TULSI and local herbal treatment I was back in business in no time! 

Me and Mrs Designer also got the change to visit the tomb of LOVE: 

Taj Mahal. 

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We took some promo pictures for LOVEHANDLES and got into many other tourists photo albums as they thought we where some "celebrities" or something... Funny and confusing. The sentence from our guide echoed in my eyers all day: "With no wife - no life". 

 :-)  

Second time in Delhi everything was different, everything just had a different touch to it, more familiar feeling, more professional approach both in business and social wise. 

The goal was clearer than ever and I enjoyed every bit of it! One step closer to my dream:

a Dream

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!

2011 for me was a dream come true! I followed my intuition and believed in my dream becoming a clothing retailer/designer/entrepreneur for my own plus size brand: Lovehandles. 

I started with a seed, a thought, a dream that grew in to bigger proportions. On this journey I have met the right people that has helped me. On this path universe has questioned me, put some obstacle along the way, but I have overcome many cos I BELIEVED in my DREAM. 

I kissed Taj Mahal and I liked it! :-)
